For the past years, I’ve been so rude to her…I treated her so bad…and I regret that…it broke my heart so bad….looking back how I answer back to her or shout to her and murmur when she irritates me with those “do this and do that” that does not make any sense sometimes BUT she’s right most of the time…I never hug or kiss or said I love you to my mom (come on it’s corny for a 21 years old like me) but she deserve to be hug, kiss and be loved…(I swear I’m not crying)…LOVE u Mama.
God knows
I been on a roller coaster ride this past few weeks. I quit my job, went to a 4days trip to different places, and now I’m a full time campus missionary.
And I came to realize that this is not just happened because it happens but I believe it happens for a reason, it happened because God wants it to happen - this is one of His plans for me.
God knows it will happen. God knows how it will happen. God knows why it happened.
It did thought me a lot of things. He thought me -
- to wait (there is a right time, but if He says Go! you should literally Go!)
- to trust (that whatever happens you need to trust Him, WHATEVER HAPPENS even if it discourages us)
- to believe (simply have “FAITH”)
God knows what to teach us..and I’m loving every inch of it.
I know there’s more.
wildfire, started with a spark
More than 7,000 young people coming from over 278 campuses all over the country gathered for Ignite2011: the LifeBox Campus Conference held at Cuneta Astrodome last May 26-28, 2011. It started with a spark that end up to a wildfire as a large crowd sing and dance with a heartfelt worship to God. It did spark every single student’s and leader’s heart to fire up for God and His Word to change the world starting to their campuses.
As part of this big gathering, all I can say is that it doesn’t matter how amazing this experience is or the things I’ve learned from the speakers but what matters is what I become because of what God had done through this event.

Hilarious comment about Harold’s wrong prophecy
“Oh cheer up Harold. We all make mistakes. Its not the end of the world” username KULCAT commented from the article of Liz Goodwin – Doomsday prophet, followers ‘flabbergasted’ world didn’t end-.
It was a hilarious joke about the failure ‘doomsday prophecy’ of Harold Camping. Over 13,728 yahoo users liked it and more than 400 replies. I hope Harold couldn’t read all those silly jokes about his wrong prophecy because I don’t want him to feel bad (c’mon, he is old have some pity).
I laughed and giggled the moment I read this comment (it’s really funny). I wonder what kind of respond Harold will going to make when one of his followers crack this punchline to his face, ouch! (that would be very rude). Let’s just hope that there would be no more prediction coming from him will explode again because I don’t think there’s still people who will actually pay for the advertisement.
Oh cheer up Harold. We all make mistakes. It’s not the end of the world. haha
Soar High to New Heights
Victory Christian Fellowship Dagupan celebrated their 24th Anniversary yesterday May 22, 2011 at CSI Stadia.
It started with a “wow” as the music team and dance group hyped the crowd with an outstanding production number. I was moved by the Holy Spirit in the praise and worship as being one of the back-up of the worship team – seeing people from the stage while raising their hands to God felt so much grateful and amazed on how God moved around the congregation.
Pastor Jojo Henson, the speaker preached about “soaring like an eagle” and it did have a big impact to everybody including me. One thing I admire about Pastor Jojo is that he is passionate in everything he does, you can see it in his eyes and prophetic mouth that he is in it to spread the Word.
The celebration ends with a big announcement – that is “Pangasinan at 25″ the 25th Anniversary Celebration next year as five churches of pangasinan will be at one place praising God. Surely, it will be BIG – bigger place for bigger number, bigger vision for bigger mission. This is exciting and I can’t wait for 2012.SOAR!
May 21, 2011 – Judgment Day?
The End of the World prediction for May 21st is spreading all over the internet, newspaper, TV, and ads around the streets. Is it true? some people believe it is and some are not convince. One thing I can say about this — it didn’t happened before. The man behind this prediction also claimed that judgment day was going to be in September of 1994 it didn’t happen! Well, I don’t have a problem with that either it’s gonna happen or not. But honestly, it freaks me out a little bit thinking, what if the clock ticks at 6 o’clock and rapture happen (when good people go to heaven, faithful people) and I’m still here!! So I started evaluating myself on how did I spend my life for the past 21 years I live on earth (I almost cry actually saying “I’m Busted” – good thing the quote “GOD’s Grace” exist).
The real question is – do you have faith? Because if you do, you don’t need to freak out and give up your job or give away all your possessions to the poor (but it would be a good idea) because Jesus saved us from the moment He gave His life at the cross.
I think the best thing we could do or how to deal with this “doomsday today” dilemma is not to think of it, just have the full confidence to believe and have faith to our creator for He is always in control of everything.
Top 8 Ways for Christian Teens to Avoid and Overcome Temptation
Christian teens face temptation every day, and not everyone is prepared to overcome those temptations. At some point most people are faced with the desire to submit to sin, whether it is gluttony, sex, gossip, cheating, and more. Sometimes those temptations are minor, so they are pretty easy to overcome, but other times the desire seems too great. Remember, though, that temptation is not the sin, even Jesus was tempted. We only sin when we give into the temptation. Here are some things you can do to help you avoid and overcome temptations:
1. Identify Temptations
Everyone is a little different, so it is important to know what temptations are difficult for you to overcome. Some people may find that gossip is more alluring than sex. Others may find that even holding a date’s hand is too much of a temptation. When you know what tempts you the most you can be proactive about handling that temptation.
2. Pray About the Temptation
Most Christian teens know the temptations that are difficult to overcome. For instance, if you find gossip a great temptation then pray every night for the strength to overcome the gossip. Ask God to provide you with the strength to walk away from the gossip and to know what information is gossip and what is real information.
3. Avoid the Temptation
When we know what temptations are being the most difficult, we can prepare ourselves for those situations. In some cases we can even avoid the temptation itself. For instance, if premarital sex is a temptation, then you can avoid being in situations where you might find yourself giving into that desire. If you are prone to cheating, then you may want to position yourself during a test so that you cannot see the paper of the person next to you.
4. Use Your Bible for Inspiration
The Bible is there to offer Christian teens advice and guidance, so why not use it? Scripture verses like 1 Corinthians 10:13, “You are tempted in the same way that everyone else is tempted. But God can be trusted not to let you be tempted too much, and he will show you how to escape from your temptation” (CEV), can help inspire you in moments of temptation. Try to look up what the Bible says on your areas of temptation for inspiration and guidance.
5. Use the Buddy System
Do you have a friend or leader that you can trust to guide you in facing your temptations? Sometimes it helps to have someone else you can talk to about your issues or even brainstorm ways you can avoid temptation. You may even ask to meet regularly with your friend to hold you accountable.
6. Use Positive Language
What does positive language have to do with avoiding temptation? It actually has more to do with overcoming temptation. You need to believe God can help you overcome the desire to sin in order to actually overcome it. Avoid saying things like, “It’s too hard,” or “I’ll never be able to do this.” Remember, God can move mountains. Try changing how you approach the situation and say, “God can help me overcome this,” or “It’s not too hard for God.”
7. Give Yourself Alternatives
In 1 Corinthians 10:13, the Bible states that God can show you how to escape from your temptation. Allow yourself to see that escape. If you know your temptations, know how you can overcome. Give yourself alternatives. For instance, if you are tempted to lie to protect another person’s feelings, try considering other ways to word the truth so it doesn’t sound so harsh. If people around you are getting into drugs, try making new friends. Alternatives aren’t always easy, but they can be the path God creates for you to avoid and overcome temptation.
8. It’s Not the End of the World
While avoiding temptation makes life a lot easier, it can be discouraging when we do give into that sin. We all make mistakes. That is why God offers us forgiveness. While you should not sin knowing that you can be forgiven, you should know that God’s grace is available. So add 1 John 1:8-9, “If we say that we have not sinned, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth isn’t in our hearts. But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away,” (CEV) to that list so you know that God will always be there ready to catch you when you fall.
